Educational Background
Dr. Singh was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba. She further pursued her academic journey at The Illinois College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctorate. Dr. Singh’s dedication and excellence in her studies were recognized with the prestigious Trustees scholarship throughout her graduate program.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Singh has a robust clinical background, having completed a hospital internship at the University of Minnesota. She also undertook two significant rotations in Winnipeg. During these experiences, she gained valuable insights and skills in managing chronic retinal diseases, fitting contact lenses, treating pediatric patients, and handling ocular emergencies. Her areas of interest are wide-ranging, encompassing primary care, geriatrics, and contact lens management.
Personalized Patient Care
Fluent in both English and Punjabi, Dr. Singh is committed to providing comprehensive education and personalized care to all her patients. She believes in the importance of patient education and strives to ensure that each of her patients fully understands their eye health and treatment options. Dr. Singh is currently accepting patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting the diverse needs of our community.
Outside the Clinic
When she's not at Crest Eyecare, Dr. Singh enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep her active and engaged. She is an avid yoga practitioner, loves exploring new restaurants, and has recently developed an interest in golfing.
